- Made his MLB debut with Baltimore in a win vs. Tampa Bay at Camden Yards on 5/12/18
- Made 19 starts for the Orioles in 2019
- Announced in October 2021 that he would undergo chemotherapy for a cancerous germ cell tumor in his chest
- The cancer returned in 2023 and began another round of radiation and surgery
- Received support from former Baltimore teammate Trey Mancini and the Trey Mancini Foundation
- Declared cancer free in February and began working towards his return to pitching shortly thereafter
