A veteran of Minor League Baseball, Fisch began his career in baseball in 1989, holding management roles in multiple locations. A former Vice President/Assistant General Manager for the Hickory Crawdads, Carolina Mudcats, and Winston-Salem Warthogs, he has tremendous experience in fan engagement and venue management. Most recently, Fisch spent five years with Wake Forest University as the Associate Athletic Director of Fan Engagement/Venue Management/Championships.

Director, Corporate Partnerships/Fulfillment
With previous experience in Collegiate Baseball and Minor League Hockey, Caroline Cooling joined the High Point Rockers in 2019. A graduate of the University of North Carolina, Caroline volunteered and interned with the Diamond Heels for three seasons within the marketing and in-game promotions department. With previous internship experience with the Charlotte Checkers, Caroline is excited to be back in the world of baseball and professional sports. She is happy to provide fans the opportunity to purchase season tickets or arrange group events and also focuses on corporate partnerships to help grow their presence in High Point!

Special Events Coordinator
Alex Mendenhall joined the Rockers in February 2022 as the special events coordinator. She is a 2021 graduate of High Point University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in event management. She is currently working on a Master of Science in hospitality and tourism management at the University of Central Florida. Mendenhall has served as an intern at the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts where she was responsible for coordinating fundraising, membership socials and networking events while also securing sponsorships.
She is a member of the Professional Convention Management Association and Alpha Phi Omega, the national service fraternity. Alex has also participated with the High Point University club softball team and the HPU Community Orchestra.

Director of Video and Broadcast Services
Aaron Tribble joined the Rockers front office as the Director of Video and Broadcast Services.
He joined the Rockers staff after serving as an editor, photographer and cinematographer for ArtOfficial Post House, LLC. There, he worked with non-linear editing programs while developing his vast knowledge of professional cameras, camera equipment, lighting, compositing and professional film framing.
Prior to his time with ArtHouse, Tribble was an assistant director with Barrington Marson Films in Atlanta where he created and fostered relationships throughout the film community including scouting for film locations, casting and maintaining project timelines.
Aaron has also served as the marketing manager for Dyme Squad Media, and as an on-air radio personality for WWCU-FM.
Tribble is a 2016 graduate of Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication: Broadcasting.

Fan Experience/Promotions Coordinator
Alicia Marcotte became a member of the High Point Rockers staff in February 2022 when she was named as the team’s fan experience-promotions coordinator.
A 2021 graduate of James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Va., Alicia most recently worked with the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour where she produced and designed both digital and print content for junior golfers. She has also worked with James Madison’s athletic marketing department and interned in the athletics marketing department at Monmouth University.

Business Manager
Sherrie Poplin joined the High Point Rockers staff early in 2022 in the role of business manager. An experienced professional, Poplin has experience in accounting, purchasing, and management. A cum laude graduate of High Point University with a degree in business administration and economics, Poplin is the former owner of Dell, Inc., a furniture manufacturer in Thomasville, N.C. Sherrie is the mother of a son and a daughter and enjoys spending her free time watching baseball and basketball and participating in crafts.

Facilities Operations Manager
New to North Carolina, but not baseball, Shane Poling is the Facility Operations Manager for the Rockers. Shane has a long line of experience in baseball working with the Prospect League’s Chillicothe Paints for five years and one season with the Indianapolis Indians. Shane will spearhead facility rentals, hiring of game day staff, turf management, oversee security and the clean-up crew, and assist in set up and tear down of each event.

General Manager, Spectra Food Services
A native of Guilford County, and graduate of UNC-Greensboro, Tyler is responsible for all food & beverage aspects of all events at Truist Point. He has plenty of experience in concessions across a multitude of sports including the NFL, NBA, NASCAR, MLS, Minor League Baseball, and collegiate athletics, including ACC Basketball Tournaments. Tyler and his staff are constantly finding new and exciting items to offer fans at Rockers games while also working to ensure any private event at Truist Point has the catering of a five-star venue!

Ticket Sales Account Executive
J.P. Rooney joined the High Point Rockers in 2021 as a Ticket Sales Account Executive. A native of Gastonia, N.C., Rooney is a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Ala. where he majored in sport administration and sport ministry. No stranger to the Rockers, J.P. was an intern in the front office with the club in 2020. J.P. is excited to be joining the High Point staff as he and his wife, Martha, reside in nearby Greensboro and he vows to help the High Point community Keep Rockin’.

Communications Director
Steve Shutt joined the Rockers in 2021 after spending 40 years in the athletic communications field, primarily at the college level. He most recently served for 13 years as the Associate Athletic Director for Athletic Communications at Wake Forest University. In his role with the Rockers, Shutt assists the staff in all aspects of communications including publicity and public relations while continuing to develop relationships with the media.
Shutt has an extensive background in baseball including serving as the Tournament Director for the Southern Conference Baseball Championship from 2001-05 and as the play-by-play voice for Wake Forest baseball from 2012-15. Shutt has spent time in college athletics as a sports information director, assistant AD and associate AD at Indian River State College, Bowling Green State University, New Mexico State University, as well as at Wake Forest and the Southern Conference. He is a 1980 graduate of Bowling Green where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Sales/Account Executive
Garrett Allen joined the High Point Rockers front office staff as sales/account executive in 2022.
A 202 graduate of Wingate University, Allen earned a Bachelor of Science cum laude in sport management with a minor in community and commercial recreation.
Allen has a solid background in both professional and amateur sports. He has worked as a guest experience ambassador with the Charlotte Hornets where he ensures that all guests have a positive experience at the Spectrum Center. Allen has served as the assistant legion director for the High Point Thomasville Hitoms of the Coastal Plain League where he handled game scheduling, field maintenance, marketing and game day operations.
