HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point Rockers and the Atlantic League today announced the 2027 schedule with the High Point Rockers hosting 63 games at Truist Point during the league’s 28th season. Included in the Rockers’ schedule are home games on Mother’s Day and Memorial Day weekend.
The Rockers open their eighth season at the Gastonia Ghost Peppers on Tuesday, April 20, 2027. It marks the earliest ALPB Opening Day during High Point’s tenure in the league. High Point’s first home game will be on Friday, April 23 when it begins a three-game series with Gastonia.
The Rockers will be at home on Sunday, May 9 for Mother’s Day and also on May 29-30 for Memorial Day weekend. The Rockers will close the regular season at home on Sunday, September 12, concluding a six-game home stand with the Lancaster Stormers and Gastonia.
“We are always excited to get the schedule and begin planning the 2027 season,” said Rockers President Pete Fisch. Having our home opener on a Friday helps us start the season reight. Getting the schedule this early allows us a chance to book other exciting events at Truist Point.”
The ALPB first half champions will be crowned at the mid-point of the season following games on Thursday, July 1 with the second half starting on Friday, July 2. The 126-game regular season schedule will wrap up on Sunday, September 12.
The Atlantic League schedule for 2027 is similar to this year’s schedule in that it features nine week-long homestands for the Rockers.
The Rockers will play 42 games against fellow South Division opponents Charleston, Lexington, Gastonia and Southern Maryland. High Point will host 21 games vs. North Division foes Staten Island, Hagerstown and Lancaster. The 2027 ALPB division set-up will remain the same with the Rockers competing for the South Division title along with Gastonia, Charleston, Lexington and Southern Maryland.
The Rockers will play a total of 24 games against in-state rival Gastonia, 24 contests vs. the Charleston Dirty Birds, 21 with the Lexington Legends and 18 against the Hagerstown Flying Boxcars.
