Become A Host Family
The High Point Rockers Host Family Program is an exciting opportunity to learn and share in the life of a minor league baseball player.
Host families are not financially compensated, but the chance to experience the day to day life of a minor league ballplayer is an opportunity few people will ever have.
Ideal Host Families:
- Commit to the entire season (Early April -Middle of October)
- Provide player(s) with their own room (although multiple players can share)
- Access to bathroom, kitchen and laundry
- Provide a clean, safe, and healthy home environment
- Host families must be very understanding of the player’s hectic schedule

Bat Boy / Bat Girl Program
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrive at least 90 minutes before the start of each game
- Help clean players cleats prior to and after each game
- Ensure that both dugouts and bullpens are well-stocked with necessities
- Make sure player pass lists get to ticket office on time
- Keep on-deck circle clean throughout the game
- Retrieve foul balls that stay on the field of play
- Retrieve bats from field of play
- Supply umpires with baseballs and water when needed
- Clean dugouts and bullpens, returning equipment to proper location
- Assist clubhouse managers with any and all other tasks
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must pay attention at all times
- Know the rules of the game
- Must work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Available for most, if not all, 66 Rockers home games
